Minister of Education Mohamed Abdellatif announced that Egypt has exceeded the targets set in the field of technical education, as applied technology schools will reach 225 schools next year, exceeding the government's target of 200 schools by 2030. The minister stressed that technical education represents the future of the world, pointing to the expansion of international schools and global partnerships.
The Minister of Education and Technical Education, Mohamed Abdellatif, revealed the achievement of a qualitative achievement in the technical education system, as applied technology schools will reach 225 schools by the beginning of the next academic year, exceeding the government target of 200 schools by 2030. The minister pointed out that this achievement reflects the exceptional growth rates achieved by these schools specialized in linking education to the requirements of the labor market. Abdul Latif confirmed that Technical education is no longer limited to being the future of Egypt, but has evolved into the future of the entire world, citing the tendency of developed countries to increase enrollment rates in technical education compared to general education, given its pivotal role in strengthening the national economy and supporting local and global labor markets. The Minister highlighted the intensive government efforts to expand the establishment of international technical education schools, by strengthening cooperation with global powers The largest, led by Italy. He revealed that more than 107 schools are currently working to grant accredited international certificates to graduates, which qualifies them to work inside and outside Egypt according to advanced global standards. Abdul Latif explained that the strategic vision of the Egyptian state aims to transform technical education into an advanced international educational system, which grants students the degree of "technical baccalaureate" in addition to internationally recognized international certificates, which opens up to graduates Broad prospects for work in different countries of the world. The minister stressed that investment and export constitute the two main pillars of the Egyptian economy, stressing that the biggest challenge before them lies in providing trained and qualified labor in accordance with modern international standards.
