The Minister of Education, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif, announced the application of Japanese learning outcomes in teaching mathematics for the primary stage in Arabic, pointing to the success of 600,000 students in programming through the Japanese platform. The minister also revealed the launch of a new curriculum for financial culture that allows students to open training portfolios on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
Dr. Mohamed Abdellatif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, confirmed that Egyptian students in the first primary grade are currently studying the same learning outcomes as their counterparts in Japan in mathematics, which achieved outstanding results that exceeded expectations. The minister explained that the second and third primary grades will apply the curricula that match the Japanese learning outcomes starting next year, while teaching them in Arabic, pointing out that This approach comes within the framework of the distinguished cooperation between Egypt and Japan, which is known for its excellence in mathematics, science and technology. In the field of programming, the Minister pointed out that teaching this subject according to the Japanese curriculum made it significantly easier for students to learn, as field visits to about 200 classes in the first secondary grade showed the ease of students' understanding of the new subject. The minister revealed the success of about 600,000 students in programming tests conducted through The Japanese platform, explaining that each student takes a separate exam and the results arrive directly from Japan, which ensures transparency and accuracy in the evaluation. The minister announced the addition of a new mission to the curriculum represented in the financial culture curriculum, which will be taught through the same platform dedicated to programming, pointing out that successful students in this curriculum will get the opportunity to open training portfolios on the Egyptian Stock Exchange. The minister stressed that this step aims to link theoretical education In practice, it comes within the framework of President Abdelfattah ElSisi's vision to launch the Egyptian-Japanese schools project and develop the education system in Egypt.
