The Lebanese Ministry of Health, in an official statement issued on Saturday, revealed a new blood toll of the Israeli aggression on southern Lebanon, where 11 martyrs were killed and 8 people were injured in airstrikes targeting three towns in Tyre district. The casualties were distributed to three main towns, where the town of Maaroub recorded the largest number of casualties with 4 martyrs, including a paramedic, in addition to 5 wounded, including another paramedic. While the raid on the town of Abbasiya resulted in 3 martyrs, one of them from Syrian nationality and one wounded. The town of Tirdba completed the tragic scene with the fall of 4 martyrs and 2 wounded in the Israeli shelling that affected it. These attacks constitute a continuation of Israel's daily violations of the ceasefire agreement in force since April 17. For his part, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam described the repeated Israeli attacks on the cities of Tyre and Nabatieh as amounting to prohibited "collective punishment" internationally, pointing to the destruction of historical monuments and the threat to civilians. Israel has continued its expanded aggression against Lebanon since March 2, in a war that has left more than 3,355 people dead and 1,095 wounded, in addition to the displacement of more than a million people, according to Lebanese official statistics. Israeli forces continue to occupy large areas of southern Lebanon, some occupied for decades and others since the last war, where they have been able to penetrate up to 10 kilometers within Lebanese territory from the southern border.
