A dangerous criminal was killed in an armed confrontation after killing a woman and trying to steal a vehicle

The Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed details of a horrific murder that shook Menoufia Governorate, where investigations were able to identify the perpetrator and eliminate him in a violent armed confrontation in Cairo Governorate. The case began when the Quesna police station received a report that the body of an unidentified woman who had been shot had been found. The Directorate of Security formed an intensive criminal investigation team in cooperation with the Public Security Sector, which succeeded in identifying the victim who turned out to be a resident housewife In the area, investigations revealed that the victim was accompanied by the driver of a small transport vehicle when they were attacked by an armed criminal who tried to steal the vehicle by force. When they resisted the attempt, the assailant fired a volley of bullets that killed the woman instantly, while the driver managed to escape before dumping the victim's body for fear of legal accountability. Investigations showed that the perpetrator was a serious criminal registered in multiple cases involving murder, drugs, weapons possession, and robbery under duress. The security forces identified his hideout at the Tebbin police station in Cairo, and when an attempt was made to arrest him, he fired at the policemen. The violent armed confrontation ended with the murder of the criminal, as troops found in his possession the automatic rifle used in the crime and a quantity of ammunition. The Public Prosecution took over the investigation and took all necessary legal measures to close the file of this crime that raised the concern of citizens.
