A senior official in the IRGC Navy threatened to turn the Iranian coast into a "cemetery for the aggressors" in the event that the United States resumes its military operations. The threats come amid painstaking negotiations between Tehran and Washington over a preliminary agreement on the Strait of Hormuz and the nuclear file.
A senior IRGC navy official made sharp threats against the United States, warning that Iran would "turn the area from Chabahar to Mahshahr into a cemetery for aggressors" if Washington resumed its military operations. The deputy of political affairs in the IRGC Navy, Muhammad Akbarzadeh, confirmed that "our fighters today carry in their chests a yearning for close combat with the enemy," noting that the armed forces Iranians stand in a state of readiness.
