Hezbollah carried out 32 military operations against Israeli positions and vehicles in southern Lebanon and northern Israel, including targeting Merkava tanks and Iron Dome systems. The operations came in response to ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire amid a broad escalation in the region.
Hezbollah announced 32 miscellaneous military operations against the IDF in various areas of southern Lebanon and northern Israel, according to official statements issued by the group as of Tuesday evening. The military operations included 13 targets for Israeli vehicles and soldiers, as well as the destruction of 7 Merkava tanks, 4 Nemera vehicles and 2 Hummer vehicles, using rockets, artillery shells and dive drones. The operations focused on The eastern town of Zawtar, which is witnessing Israeli incursions, where the resistance targeted Israeli forces at the riverbed and the vicinity of the reservoir, in addition to the towns of Rashaf, Adashit al-Qusayr, Shamaa, and Branit Barracks. On the other hand, Hezbollah announced the downing of two Israeli aircraft in the skies of the towns of Srifa and Deir Kifa, and also targeted an Iron Dome platform and artillery bunkers in various locations. In contrast, Israel launched 105 attacks on southern and eastern Lebanon, killing 8 people. Four others were injured, in a clear escalation of the aggression despite the ceasefire in force since last April. This escalation comes amid Israeli threats to intensify attacks against the Lebanese resistance, in light of the continued Israeli occupation of areas in southern Lebanon and its incursion up to 10 kilometers inside the Lebanese borders.
