Arsenal have been crowned Premier League champions for the 14th time in their history and their first since 2004, after beating Crystal Palace 2-1 in the final round of the competition.

This historic title came after a wait of twenty years, with the last achievement of the Gunners in the Premier League in 2004. It was confirmed that the title was decided in favor of Arsenal early after the draw of his direct opponent Manchester City with Bournemouth 1-1 last Tuesday. Brazilian Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 41st minute, before Noni Madueke added the second goal in the 49th minute of the second half. Crystal Palace responded with an honorary goal via Jean-Philippe Matita in the 88th minute. With this victory, Arsenal raised their final score to 85 points at the top of the overall standings, while Crystal Palace settled in 15th place with 45 points. This match Oliver Glasner's last with the Eagles, after the club announced his departure at the end of the season. Football fans are now awaiting the upcoming continental confrontations, as Crystal Palace will face Rayo Vallecano in the European Conference League final next Wednesday, while Arsenal will face a greater challenge against Paris Saint-Germain, the defending champion, in the Champions League final three days later.
