SpaceX is conducting a new test launch of the upgraded Starship vehicle

SpaceX has successfully conducted a test launch of the upgraded version of its flagship Starship spacecraft from the Starbase facility located in Boca Chica, Texas. The vehicle's carrier rocket launched with pinpoint accuracy according to the predetermined time, leaving the launch pad at 5:30 p.m. local time in the central United States, adhering to strict scheduling of the task. This updated version represents a qualitative technical leap, as the length of the vehicle with its Super Heavy carrier rocket rose to 124 meters, making it one of the largest space systems ever. The system is also equipped with 39 upgraded Raptor engines, which have exceptional propulsion capacity. The test flight is designed to take a complex suborbital route, where Starship will carry out a series of Sophisticated maneuvers to check how well its structure withstands maximum pressures and operational loads in the harsh space environment. Mission objectives include practical unloading mechanism testing, where the vehicle carries on board twenty simulated models of actual satellite sizes, in addition to two modified satellites of the new generation of the ambitious "Starlink" project.
